Sapta Shakti Sangam 2025 Celebrated at Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan, Pasighat

Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh – The Sapta Shakti Sangam 2025 was successfully organized at Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan (D.P.V.N.), Pasighat Bazaar, under the aegis of Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (A.S.V.S.). The event celebrated women’s empowerment, motherhood, and cultural unity, drawing participation from over 200 enthusiastic attendees.

The program began with the auspicious Deep Prajwalan (lamp lighting) ceremony, performed by the Chief Guest Smt. Aini Taki Taloh, a renowned social worker, blood donor, and leader of the voluntary organization AYANG. Smt. Taloh, who has received the Rakht Krantiveer Samman and several international awards, inspired the audience with her vision of service, compassion, and empowerment.

Students of D.P.V.N. School presented a soulful Sanskrit Vandana, setting a devotional tone for the event. Er. O. Gao, Coordinator of Sapta Shakti Sangam, delivered the welcome address and highlighted the event’s mission—promoting women’s strength, unity, and the power of motherhood. Teachers of D.P.V.N. further enhanced the occasion with a melodious group song, adding cultural richness to the celebration.

The keynote address was delivered by Smt. Minam Mibang, Assistant Professor at J.N. College, who emphasized the crucial role of mothers in fostering a value-based society. A lively quiz competition engaged nearly 200 participants, while students also recited Sanskrit Subhashitas, reflecting the wisdom of ancient Indian literature.

Motivational talks by Smt. Yamo Tamut (EAC, Pasighat) and Dr. Manjuli Jamoh (CEO, Smart City Pasighat) highlighted women’s leadership, social responsibility, and community cohesion. The Chief Guest, Smt. Aini Taki Taloh, addressed the audience on service, compassion, and empowerment, leaving a lasting impression on all participants. Several mothers also shared personal experiences, expressing gratitude for being part of such a meaningful event.

Towards the conclusion, all participants took a pledge of unity and empowerment, reaffirming their commitment to collective progress and social harmony. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Smt. S. Sangma, Principal of D.P.V.N. School, followed by the chanting of the Shanti Mantra, spreading peace and positivity.

The 2.5-hour-long program stood as a vibrant celebration of motherhood, devotion, and women’s empowerment, leaving a proud mark on D.P.V.N. School and the Pasighat community.
